The Pennsbury Partners Program and the Newtown Chamber Orchestra present:

KIDS CONNECT TO THE CLASSICS

The Newtown Chamber Orchestra, the highly acclaimed ensemble now in its 22st year, will present a free family concert, called “Kids Connect to the Classics,” on Sunday, March 25th, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Pennsbury High School – East, 705 Hood Blvd., Fairless Hills.

"Kids Connect to the Classics" is designed for elementary school children and their families to hear classical music in an entertaining and educational way.  The orchestra will play Mozart's Musical Joke and Haydn's Farewell Symphony. There will be prizes, audience participation, an instrument “petting zoo” and refreshments.

"Studies have shown that introducing young children to classical music can actually heighten a child’s mental skills," said Russell Hoffmann, conductor and music director.
